The Abbotsford Story Inc. is pleased to announce the presentation of more than $15,000 in donations to local organizations within the AbbyBank communities.
Every March and September, AbbyBank's charitable foundation, The Abbotsford Story Inc., receives requests from many area schools, nonprofit organizations or community organizations for funds needed to enrich, create or support existing community public projects.
The September donations were presented to the following organizations in our local communities: Axion Community Center, Colby Public Library, Colby Choir Parents, Abbotsford Ambulance Service, Workplace Volunteer Council/Fill a BackPack Fill a Need program, Good News Project Inc., Horace Mann Middle School, Samoset Council - Boy Scouts of America, Get Smart Wausau Coalition, United Way of Marathon County, The Neighbor's Place and Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area.

The Abbotsford Story Inc. was formed in 1986 as a private charitable foundation of AbbyBank. Since the foundation was formed, AbbyBank has made contributions totaling more than $908,300 to the foundation. From the interest earned, the foundation makes donations to worthwhile community projects that benefit the greatest number of citizens possible. Since 1986, the foundation has made donations to Abbotsford, Wausau, Weston and neighboring area organizations totaling more than $588,476.
