Empty Bowls to come alive

Empty Bowls 2013 will come alive at Becket's Restaurant Oshkosh from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10. The event is a collaborative community effort that addresses hunger and food security.

When a person buys a ticket to Empty Bowls, the ticket money buys many meals for people in Oshkosh dealing with hunger. All proceeds from Empty Bowls go to these area Food Pantries: Emmanuel, Father Carr's, HIS Church, Lutheran Pantry, Oshkosh Area Community Pantry, and the Salvation Army.

Ticket prices are as follows: Advanced Sales: $30/person includes a bowl made by the area potters and meal or $15 for meal ...
