Mercy Health Foundation announces new grants

The Mercy Health Foundation Board of Trustees approved $320,596 in grant requests at its October meeting to support health projects at Mercy Medical Center and in the community. Funds were awarded for:

? The Living Healthy Community Clinic for low income, uninsured residents of Winnebago County--$100,000. The LHCC provided primary health care to 1,052 individuals last year.

? The Tri-County Community Dental Clinic--$25,000. In 2012. 2,726 low income children and adults from Southern Winnebago County received care at the TCCDC. ...
