Jerry Fontenot has spent half his life as an employee of the NFL, but not even two decades of experience could prepare him for what he witnessed Sunday.

In the fourth quarter of a 31-13 win over Cleveland, the 46-year-old tight ends coach for the Green Bay Packers watched helplessly from the sideline as one of his position players, Jermichael Finley, was taken off the field on a stretcher after sustaining a spinal contusion.
