Aniwa woman wins national cat video contest (with video)

Melissa Thorpe adopted her cat, Remy, about a year ago from the Langlade County Humane Society. Thorpe was immediately drawn to the feline from all of the others at the shelter when Remy pressed her head against the cage and stuck her paws out toward her.

"She picked me more than I picked her," Thorpe said. "She's always had a spunky personality."

Shortly after Thorpe took Remy home to Aniwa, she discovered the cat was very curious about her computer's printer. Each time the printer started to make noise and pull paper through the machine, Remy sat and stared. ...
