The Kewaunee County Food Pantry is a source of compassion to those who are in need of food, now the pantry is opening its doors to a handful of donations.

More than 1,050 pounds of food were donated to about 200 residents of Kewaunee County on Oct. 17 during a large event that gave out bags upon bags of groceries, to anyone who showed up, for free.

United Healthcare teamed up with Feeding America, to host the giveaway in Kewaunee County, one of 12 counties in Wisconsin hosting the event. Representative of UHC, Renee Ladewig-Lathrop said the company brought enough food to give away 300 bags of food. ...
