Maybe Nick Perry’s foot wasn’t broken, after all. At least, significantly.

The Green Bay Packers second-year outside linebacker returned to practice in limited fashion during Friday’s final run-through before Sunday’s game in Minnesota. He even took a couple team reps, indicating he might be able to play against the Vikings.

According to two separate reports, Perry broke his foot on a sack near the end of the first half in a 19-17 win over Baltimore two weeks ago.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy is scheduled to speak at approximately 12:30 p.m. with a further update on his status for Sunday.

The Packers were without wide receiver James Jones (knee), outside linebacker Clay Matthews (thumb), tight end Ryan Taylor (knee) and tight end Jermichael Finley (neck). Safety Jerron McMillian was also absent.

Inside linebacker Brad Jones (hamstring) and cornerback Casey Hayward (hamstring) were both limited participants. Running back James Starks (knee) didn’t seem to be inhibited by any measure.
