No one is happier about the impending demise of the Metrodome than members of the Green Bay Packers from the 1990s.

The same management and players who turned around the Packers' franchise after 25 years of post-Lombardi losing have mostly haunting memories of the stadium that former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka contemptuously called "The Rollerdome."

"I don't think you have enough ink to print what I think about it," said LeRoy Butler, the former Packers safety. "My biggest thrill was seeing that snow go through the ceiling (in 2010)." ...
