Another University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point football game went down to the wire.

UWSP senior quarterback Mitch Beau hit receiver Luke Neubauer on the final play of the game against UW-La Crosse, but Neubauer was stopped at the UW-La Crosse 2-yard line, leaving the Pointers short in a 28-21 loss Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The loss comes on the heels of 24-23 loss to UW-Platteville last week that saw the Pioneers score with 56 seconds left and add the game-winning extra point. ...
