Gillett plant roaring back to operation

Employment to nearly trip at Wausaukee Composites' 'Center for Engineering Excellence'

After being shuttered for nearly a year, a Gillett manufacturing operation has not only reopened but is in the midst of expanding.

Employment at Wausaukee Composites is expected to increase from 20 employees to 55 or 60 during 2014, said senior vice president Gary Langer. About 35 positions will be new hires.

"We're excited about the opportunity to grow the operation in Gillett and bring some nice jobs to Oconto County," Langer said. ...
