Through seven games, the Green Bay Packers have become one of the most effective running teams in the NFL.

The Packers climbed to No. 3 in rushing yards per game (141.4) after generating 182 yards on the ground against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night.

If the Packers keep their pace, they will rush for 2,263 yards this season, which would rank No. 5 in franchise history behind the 2003 team featuring Ahman Green, and three Vince Lombardi-coached teams in 1961, 1962 and 1964. ...
