Clay Matthews has at least a chance to return from his broken thumb after missing only four games.

The Green Bay Packers outside linebacker is scheduled to have the surgical pins removed from his thumb on Monday, the same day the Packers host the Chicago Bears.

If the Packers' medical staff determines he can return for the following game, Nov. 10 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Matthews will have missed four games. His chances of playing that soon will depend on how well the break has healed, and regardless of whether he returns then or a week or two later, he'll have to play for several weeks with ...
