Shay Sullivan is not afraid to show emotion on the court.

And the D.C. Everest volleyball team hopes that doesn't change.

"She's our sparkplug. She really is," Evergreens coach Rita Jasurda said of her middle hitter. "She's always positive and has that smile that lights up the entire gym after she makes a kill. You can't help but feed off that energy." ...
