Retail plaza planned for former Hartl Manor site

City public works department crews updating the storm sewer system on property southeast of the North Central Avenue and Ives Street intersection are setting the stage for a new retail complex to be built on the former Hartl Manor site.

Storm sewer updates will be complete by mid-November, and construction of the 5,500-square-foot retail building could begin between fall and spring, said city planning and economic development director Jason Angell.
