Forty-five people in Wisconsin died in 2012 because of domestic violence, and a quarter of them were younger than 18. More than half of these incidents occurred after a relationship ended or one party was taking the steps to leave.

This is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Violence Intervention Project Inc. in Kewaunee County wanted to ensure each of those 45 were remembered.
