Another crash on County C and Wisconsin 57 last weekend

A Forestville woman was injured while crossing the intersection at County C and Wisconsin 57 at 1:10 p.m. Oct. 26 in the town of Brussels.

Sharon Engebose, 70, was traveling south on County C and had stopped at the stop sign with Wisconsin 57 then proceeded across the westbound lanes and stopped at the median, according to a Door County Sheriff's Department accident report.

Robert J. Borchert, 60, Sturgeon Bay, was traveling east on Wisconsin 57, approaching the intersection, but Engebose did not see his car and continued into the eastbound lane where the vehicles collided. ...
