Gibraltar stops Luck in Jamboree

Gibraltar rose up with a last-minute defensive stand and held on to beat Luck, 46-38, Saturday in the eight-man high school football Jamboree in Schofield.

The Vikings finished their first eight-man season with a record of 9-1 and, despite no regular playoff system, can be considered one of the best reduced-player football teams in the state.

"My emotions are flowing pretty hard right now," said Vikings coach Pat Keehan. "This was our journey to get here and put an exclamation point on our season. These are memorable moments that you'll never forget. We did it. We did it. Wow." ...
