FoodShare cut creates 'significant impact for families'

The most vulnerable of families are going to find it's more difficult to make ends meet as a decrease to FoodShare benefits became effective Friday. The temporary boost for the program under the federal stimulus program expired Oct. 31.

"This is a significant impact for families who have little or no income," said Brandon Vruwink, manager of Wood County Economic Support and Employment Services.
