James Jonesís chances of playing this Monday against the Chicago Bears look promising after he took part during the full duration of Saturdayís practice open to the media.
Jones, whoís working his way back from a knee sprain, participated in Fridayís padded practice on a limited basis and evidently checked out enough to take part in the early portion of Saturdayís final run-through.
Cornerback Sam Shields didnít practice after being a full participant all week. Tight end Ryan Taylor also wasnít visible after practicing on both Thursday and Friday, but it could be a day off to rest his recently scoped knee.
Outside linebackers Clay Matthews (thumb) and Nick Perry (foot), and tight end Jermichael Finley (neck) didnít practice. Perry practiced last Friday, but didnít play in Sundayís 44-31 win over Minnesota. Originally listed as questionable against the Vikings, he hasnít been available this week.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy will speak to the media at approximately 12:30 p.m.
