We've been reminded this year that football comes in different forms.

Around here, the eight-man game was introduced. But there is another that I was reminded of a few weeks back when talking to Dan Kielar. He told me about his son Abe, a former Southern Door High School athlete who's now attending Princeton University.

He said Abe had gone out for football, which proved interesting since Abe had limited playing experience at Southern Door. Abe's prep career ended after suffering injuries his first two years while on the Eagles' freshman and junior varsity teams. ...
