Swimming: Clippers look to make sectional splash

Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol is ready for the most important part of the high school girls swimming season.

The newly crowned Bay Conference champions swim at 2 p.m. Saturday in a Division 2 sectional meet in Plymouth, where swimmers from 14 teams will battle for state berths in 12 events.

"I expect us to do well," said Clippers coach Dave Bubnik. "The girls just have to stay focused and not hold back." ...
