The Brown County Veterans' Recognition Subcommittee wants veterans to receive personal recognition now while they are living, not after they are gone. One of the purposes of the subcommittee is trying to find ways to personally honor our veterans of Brown County.

A free personalized appreciation certificate is available through the mail to all county veterans and active duty military. This certificate may be obtained by signing up for it at the Veterans Day event Monday, Nov. 11, at the VFW Duck Creek post in Howard or by calling Sherry Steenbock at (920) 497-1910.
