'Grease' is the word at De Pere High School

De Pere High School will present its fall musical, 'Grease,' at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, and Friday, Nov. 8, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in the school auditorium, 1700 Chicago St. The production is an adaptation of the hit Broadway musical that turned into a cult classic on the big screen. Ticket prices are $5 for students and senior citizens and $7 for adults. They will be sold only at the door. The De Pere musical is set in 1959 at Rydell High School, following the Greasers, including Sonny (Jesse Cotherman), Roger (Mitch Gosser), Doody (Michael Schoenberger) and a couple others, all led by Danny (Sam Fuller) and Kenickie (Jack Fricke), along with their female counterparts, The Pink Ladies, including Marty (Maggie Forman), Jan (Alessandra Zizzo), Frenchy (Carlee Ihde) and a few more, who are led by Rizzo (Shiloh Andrus). Danny's love interest from summer vacation is Sandy (Megan Kaluzny). Other characters include Patty (Raechal Wozniak Sanford), Eugene (Gavin Meriable), Ms. Lynch (Haley Johnson), Johnny Casino (Kevin Fuller), Vince Fontaine (Kayla Neidl) and Cha-Cha (Cara Duevel). The chorus includes Maddie Ames, Cece Fricke, Anna Kroll, Olivia Sekelsky, Megan Danen, Lydia Skarivoda, Madeleine Buchholz, Cassie Ress, Nina Radue, Lauren Muller, Natalie Wellens, Vanessa Vanderkelen and Isabella Ames. The show is directed by Pete Dignan.
