The federal government has gone back to work after its shutdown, just before the debt ceiling deadline was reached, and we've breathed a collective sigh of relief. But is this any way to run a country?

It's only been a couple of weeks, and we're already back to the same old, same old. Sen. Ted Cruz, the self-appointed leader of the Shutdown Brigade, is so pleased with himself and his efforts to shut down the government, that he's already licking his chops, anxious for the next deadline. And Cruz has allies, including all of Wisconsin's Republican federal delegation, except for Rep. Reid Ribble.
