Hortonville girls enjoy state run

Hannah Lohrenz may be a freshman, but she handled herself like a senior at last Saturday's WIAA Division 1 state cross country meet in Wisconsin Rapids.

Lohrenz placed an impressive 15th individually in the Division 1 girls' meet with a time of 14:59.54. Teammate Emma Rafuse also had a strong state meet, placing 41st at 15:22.90. Hortonville's third state qualifier, Clare Van Beek, was spiked early in the race and finished 153rd at 16:36.80.
