A proposed new unscripted television series, produced by a Sturgeon Bay native, began filming last week in northern Door County.

Nick Oram, who worked for eight years in Los Angeles and now hails from New York, was back on the Peninsula to start shooting "Ice Wars," which is intended to focus on the conflicts between professional ice fishing guides and local ice fishermen who want to protect their favorite fishing holes.
