Spoon-N-Yogurt serves up soups, salads, smoothies

A locally-owned frozen yogurt shop in downtown Wausau has diversified its menu by offering three new categories of food.

Spoon-N-Yogurt, 320 Third St., began expanding its food offerings Oct. 28 with the addition of soups, salads and five different flavors of smoothies, including blueberry pomegranate, margarita and peach.

Owner Orval Quamme said the idea to offer such items first was mentioned to him when he opened the store in June 2012, but he decided to wait and only sell frozen yogurt at first. ...
