On a day of tributes to military veterans, the Green Bay Packers were honored, too, for their support of veterans over the years.

Gov. Scott Walker on Monday marked Veterans Day by visiting Lambeau Field and presenting the Packers with a plaque recognizing the team's frequent efforts on behalf of veterans.

Walker and other state officials applauded the Packers for player visits to veterans hospitals, for on-field tributes during home games and for other special events. ...
