Veterans understand discipline and duty. They served their country, and many of them made a career of their military service while others served for a tour of duty.

Whether they enlisted or were drafted, serving their country was honorable. Veterans Day is the day we honor those who've served America.

One local veteran is Neillsville's Mayor Steve Mabie. He understands what it is to serve this country. He was in the Navy for 26 years, active duty and reserves. "I was a shipboard sailor," Mabie said. ...
