Arsonist gets another five years in prison

The Suring man convicted of setting six fires in Northeastern Wisconsin was sentenced Thursday to five years in prison and five years extended supervision for the arson of a home near Crivitz.

Drew Christensen, 29, will serve the time after the 10-year sentence in federal prison he received Wednesday for fires he set at a church and two taverns in Oconto County.

The severity of the offense warranted additional time in prison, Marinette County Circuit Court Judge David Miron said, adding that it appeared Christensen "had no compunction" about starting fires. ...
