The City of Oshkosh will continue to collect leaves from terraces next week.

Leaf collection was scheduled to end Friday, but will continue through Nov. 22 due to late fall weather.

Leaves are collected the day after a street's scheduled garbage collection day.

The city reminds residents that leaves cannot be bagged and should be piled on the terrace no later than 7 a.m. on the day scheduled for leaf collection. Brush, branches, grass, garden waste, plants, and other yard debris may not be placed in the leaf piles.

Leaves and other yard waste may also be taken to the city's drop-off center at 639 Witzel Ave. provided a permit has been purchased. The drop-off center is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
