The city revealed Friday that three men who specialize in student housing and architecture are behind a proposed development on Division Street near the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point campus.

The developers, operating under the name CFS Group, were the subject of a closed-door meeting with elected leaders earlier this week. The city on Friday released their names in response to a Stevens Point Journal Media request filed under open-records law, but city officials still refused to say what the developers are proposing or how much tax money might be devoted to the project.
