Vander Meuse retires from coaching

After 15 years of coaching cross-country at Luxemburg-Casco and the last six as head coach, Ron Vander Meuse announced to his team after the conference meet on Oct. 17, that he would be retiring from coaching at the end of the season.

Vander Meuse is one of three head coaches in the last 40 years of L-C cross-country, following Wisconsin Cross-Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame inductees Russ Famaree in 1993 and Mark Annoye in 2006. Vander Meuse was Annoye's assistant coach for nine years before taking the head coaching position.
