Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews was fined $15,750 for his roughing the passer penalty against Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles in the second quarter of Sunday’s 27-13 loss, an NFL spokesperson confirmed Friday.

It’s the second time Matthews has been fined this season. He also was docked $15,000 deduction for his unnecessary-roughness hit on San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick in the season opener.

Before this season, the last time Matthews was fined by the league was in 2010 for a facemask penalty against Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler, which cost him $5,000.

Matthews wasn’t the only Packers outside linebacker to receive an envelope from the NFL this week. Mike Neal was fined $7,875 for an uncalled facemask penalty on Eagles running back LeSean McCoy.

Eagles linebacker Najee Goode was fined a $10,000 fine for his roughing-the-passer penalty against Packers backup quarterback Scott Tolzien in the fourth quarter.
