Brandon Bostick's football career path paid off during Sunday's 27-13 loss to Philadelphia when he scored his first NFL touchdown.

A year ago, Bostick entered the NFL the hard way. He went to tryouts, converted from a small-school receiver to tight end and spent a year on the Green Bay Packers' practice squad before finally earning a spot on the 53-man roster.

The 6-foot-3, 258-pound tight end didn't play in front of 70,000-seat stadiums during his time at Newberry College, an NCAA Division II school in South Carolina. The crowds were dedicated, but tended to hover around 2,500 people. ...
