A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Morris Avenue and Argonne Street in Ashwaubenon sent two people to the hospital on Sunday afternoon.

A 20-year-old driver of one of the vehicles was allegedly involved in a minor hit-and-run incident with a vehicle in Green Bay and left the scene with a person following him, according to Ashwaubenon Public Safety.

At about 2:45 p.m., the suspect was driving on Morris Avenue when he tried to pass a vehicle making a left turn, but collided with it.

A 75-year-old Ashwaubenon woman driving the car making the turn was extricated from her car by Ashwaubenon fire and rescue crews and taken to a hospital with undisclosed injuries. The 20-year-old suspect from Green Bay also was transported for treatment.

The suspect was arrested on a number of charges that included operating while intoxicated causing injury, knowingly operating while suspended causing great bodily harm, and operating after suspension.
