A 22-year-old Green Bay man was the person killed early Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 29.

Shane Lambert was a passenger in a westbound vehicle driven by a Sobieski man when the vehicle crossed the median and collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle, authorities said Monday. The driver of the westbound vehicle was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, according to the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department.

Speed and alcohol associated with the westbound vehicle may have been contributing factors in the crash, police said.

The driver of the eastbound vehicle, Brandon Krueger, 35, of Bonduel, also taken to a hospital with what were described as minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
