A Sturgeon Bay woman was injured when her car struck a deer at 5:05 p.m. Friday in the town of Nasewaupee.

Tattiana Rose Pump was traveling north on Wisconsin 42, north of Feest Road, when she hit a deer crossing the highway, according to a Door County Sheriff's Department accident report. Both front seat airbags deployed, injuring Pump's hand, and she was medically transported.

The moderately damaged Chevrolet Impala she was driving was listed as owned by Elliott J. Meverden, Sturgeon Bay.

The driver's age and address were not available as they were redacted from the report. Only her ZIP code was provided.
