Visitors to the Paine Art Center and Gardens in Oshkosh will again be able to immerse themselves in the fantasy land of the Nutcracker story when "Nutcracker in the Castle" opens Friday.

The annual production, now in its seventh year, presents the holiday story of a young girl's cherished nutcracker that comes to life, with each of the historic rooms decorated in a scene from the story.

Kelli Marsicek, Paine Art Center and Gardens marketing coordinator, said many families make a tradition out of going to see the production. ...
