Notebook: Packers likely to keep feeding ball to rookie Lacy

Since taking over as the Packers' No. 1 halfback in early October, Eddie Lacy leads the NFL in carries, but the Packers don't appear concerned about his workload or Lacy hitting the rookie wall.

Lacy's 157 carries since Week 4 are most in the league, ahead of Philadelphia's LeSean McCoy (151) and Seattle's Marshawn Lynch (146). The Packers had their bye during that stretch, whereas the Eagles and Seahawks haven't, so Lacy has accrued that lead in seven games to McCoy's and Lynch's eight.

But the Packers appear inclined to keep feeding the 22-year-old Lacy at his current rate - he's averaged 22.3 ...
