Kevin Greene is a semifinalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the eighth straight year.

The Packersí outside linebackers coach was one of 25 nominees who survived the cut from 126 modern era nominees. The list will be pared to 15 finalists from the modern era plus two Seniors Committee nominees on Jan. 8, and the 2014 class will be announced Feb. 1.

The Seniors Committee nominees are punter Ray Guy and defensive end Claude Humphrey.

Greeneís 160 sacks ranks No. 3 on the NFLís all-time list, behind Bruce Smith (200) and Reggie White (198).
