Workers from Miron Construction and Jones Sign work on installing a statue of Bart Starr at the Packers Heritage Trail Plaza in downtown Green Bay on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013.
Bart Starr and Clarke Hinkle statues will soon join those representing Paul Hornung, Johnny "Blood" McNally and George Whitney Calhoun at the Packers Heritage Trail Plaza in downtown Green Bay.
The new statues being installed this week will be dedicated in a ceremony at noon Saturday at the plaza at Washington and Cherry streets following the conclusion of the AT&T Green Bay Holiday Parade.
The real Bart Starr and his wife, Cherry, Green Bay Packers President Mark Murphy and Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt will be on hand for the event.
The Starr statue will show him signing an autograph, while Hall of Fame fullback Hinkle will be shown walking hand-in-hand with a young fan.
The plaza is a project of the Packers Heritage Trail Inc., a nonprofit organization promoting downtown through the telling of the story of the historic relationship between the Packers and the community.
