Girls basketball preview: Kewaunee has big shoes to fill

Coming off a 27-1 season and a second consecutive Division 3 state title in March, the Kewaunee girls basketball team is now preparing to aim for the three-peat.

Kewaunee has five seniors coming up to play for the Storm. But head coach Lynn Geier notes that this year's team lacks varsity experience, having graduated six seniors and five starters after last season, which ended with a dramatic 60-58 win over East Troy on Alex Richard's buzzer-beating layup.
