The defending Division 4 state champion Algoma Wolves girls basketball team has a goal of holding similar tenacity this season. The Wolves finished their season with a convincing 46-30 win over Colfax and a record of 26-2.

Head coach Mark Zastrow has four returning seniors and a stable of talented underclassmen.

Kennedy Blahnik, an all-state pick from the 2012-13 season, returns to the court as a guard for the 2013-14 season. ...
