English Language Arts classes to receive Chromebooks

Sturgeon Bay English Language Arts (ELA) middle and high school students will have new Chromebooks to use during class starting Monday.

Randy Watermolen, T.J. Walker Middle School principal and district Technology Committee chair, wrote a grant to a local agency and received $40,000 to put toward the 180 portable computers that operate using the Google Chrome web browser. The agency does not want its name publicized. The district put in $12,000 of its own money. Each of the six ELA classes will get 30 computers for classroom use.
