Confessions allegedly made to jailhouse snitches and a timeline based largely on 16-year-old security video will play a large part in the state's case against a man accused of killing a Green Bay teen in 1998.

Peter Hanson, 53, of Oconto Falls, is facing a charge in Oconto County Circuit Court of first-degree intentional homicide in the shooting death of Chad McLean, 19, whose body was found in the Pensaukee River about 1.5 miles from Hanson's former home in Abrams a month after the shooting.

Prosecutors say Hanson and a friend, Charles Mlados, 55, promised to give McLean a ride home to Green Bay ...
