1998 homicide case goes to jury Tuesday

The case against an Oconto Falls man accused of killing a Green Bay teen 15 years ago will go to an Oconto County jury Tuesday.

Testimony in the homicide trial of Peter Hanson ended suddenly early Monday afternoon after his lawyer informed Judge Michael T. Judge he would not be calling any witnesses.

"Based upon the belief that the state has not provided sufficient evidence beyond a reasonable doubt ? we believe that any additional testimony will not be necessary in this case," attorney Jeffrey Jazgar of Green Bay said. ...
