Secret Santa shop at Jefferson 'very rewarding'

Students at Jefferson Elementary got into the holiday spirit by transforming the gymnasium into a Secret Santa shop, giving children firsthand experience in Christmas shopping for their families.

For the fifth year in a row, the school's K-Kids club, a service organization for youth, hosted the holiday event. Students in the organization, a junior Kiwanis club, lead other students through the store and assisted them in buying gifts - everything from jewelry to stuffed animals - for their families.
