As Oconto County prepares to take another step toward construction of the planned law enforcement center on property adjacent to the courthouse, two top county officials addressed concerns raised by a small group of city residents.

Those residents, who are opposed to putting the new jail and sheriff's offices on the block north of the courthouse, are asking the Oconto City Council to open discussions with the city about the location.
