Though the first day of winter isn't technically for a few more days, the season's fun already has gotten underway at Sylvan Tubing Hill in Wausau.

The hill opened for the season Friday and is expected to be open until March 1, weather permitting.

Sylvan Tubing Hill offers six rides down the hill - including the largest tubing hill drop in the state -and two wire tows that pull visitors from the bottom of the hill back to the top. ...
